Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Manager to lead our QA team in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will ensure the highest quality standards for apparel and footwear products while driving continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Strategy and Management:
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies for apparel and footwear.
- Set and maintain quality benchmarks for suppliers, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Supplier Management:
- Collaborate with suppliers to enhance product quality and resolve quality issues.
- Conduct supplier audits and implement corrective action plans.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the QA team to achieve performance objectives.
- Facilitate training programs for internal teams and suppliers to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Product Inspection:
- Oversee pre-production, in-line, and final inspections for all products.
- Monitor inspection reports and ensure timely corrective measures.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards.
- Prepare regular reports on quality performance and suggest improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Technology, Fashion Design, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in quality assurance within the apparel industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Knowledge of footwear manufacturing is a significant advantage.
- Strong expertise in quality standards, inspection processes, and AQL levels.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus.
