About you:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in data management, data architecture, and data science.
• Proven experience working with big data technologies and frameworks.
• Proficiency in data science tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, etc.
• Strong understanding of data architecture principles and experience with data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar.
• Excellent leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

 
Key Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Regional CIO, providing strategic insights and updates on data initiatives within the organization.
• Create and envision a Data-driven roadmap for the business and strategic blueprinting.
• Lead the regional data team, including hiring, mentoring, and developing talent.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Define and implement the data architecture roadmap in alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
• Drive innovation by integrating AI, Machine Learning (ML), and Generative AI into data solutions.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and ML to continually enhance data capabilities.
• Champion the adoption of innovative technologies and methodologies in data management.
• Oversee the digitization process within data, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility.
• Develop and maintain scalable data models, data warehouses, and data pipelines for functions in the business from Supply Chain, Finance to Commercial Sales and Marketing.
• Apply hands-on Data Science techniques to analyze and interpret complex data sets.
• Work with big data technologies to extract actionable insights and drive business decisions.
• Develop and implement advanced analytics models to support various business functions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Partner with IT, operations, and business units to integrate data solutions seamlessly into business processes.
