Regional Cyber Security Lead

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Design and implement cybersecurity strategies and policies for UTAC’s information systems and networks.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Actively monitor cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activity.
  • Implement proactive measures to address malicious exposures and exploited vulnerabilities.
  • Provide regular cybersecurity status updates, including incident reports and trend analyses, to management and IT teams.
  • Conduct regular security gap and risk assessments, including Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT).
  • Lead the remediation process for identified security vulnerabilities.
  • Investigate emerging cybersecurity threats and tools.
  • Oversee investments in cybersecurity technologies aligned with UTAC’s vision and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage cybersecurity projects, ensuring alignment with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct security audits to verify adherence to security policies.
  • Increase security awareness through phishing simulations, continuous training, and distribution of informative materials.
  • Lead or participate in incident response efforts.
  • Perform forensic analyses on security incidents to mitigate and prevent future risks.
  • Evaluate and implement ITGC controls to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company assets.

 

Educational Background:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years in cybersecurity, security operations, or network security.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling IT security audits and responding to audit questionnaires.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO27001, CIS benchmarks, MITRE ATT&CK).
  • Proficient in cybersecurity tools and technologies including firewalls, encryption, endpoint security (EDR), SIEM, DLP, and identity management.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, architecture, and cloud environments (Azure preferred).
  • Experience with tools such as O365, Tenable, Qualys, and email security tools.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to document procedures and follow PMO best practices.
  • Experience with Industrial Control Systems (ICS) or Operational Technology (OT) security is a plus.
