Now, we’re gearing up to tackle a major mining account, and we need a Logistics Project Leader to help us get the job done.<br />&nbsp;<br /><strong><br />The Gig:</strong><br />&nbsp;<br />As a Logistics Project Leader, you’ll be at the helm of some seriously cool logistics operations. Here’s the lowdown on what you’ll be diving into:<br />&nbsp;<br />International Inbound: Get ready to handle the big stuff! You’ll be responsible for managing 80% of our international inbound logistics. This means overseeing shipments from all corners of the globe, ensuring they arrive safely and on time.<br />&nbsp;<br />Domestic Sourcing: The other 20% of your workload will involve domestic sourcing. You’ll be working with suppliers from across Australia, making sure we get the best deals and the best service.<br />&nbsp;<br />Unloading of Vessels: Ever wanted to see massive cargo ships up close? You’ll be overseeing the unloading of vessels, making sure everything goes smoothly from sea to land.<br />&nbsp;<br />Stevedoring: It’s all about loading and unloading cargo, and you’ll be the maestro behind the scenes, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.<br />&nbsp;<br />Staging of Cargo: Our warehouse location will be your domain. You’ll be in charge of organizing the staging of cargo, making sure everything is ready for the next leg of its journey.<br />&nbsp;<br />Domestic Transport: Coordinating domestic transport is a big part of the job. You’ll need to have your finger on the pulse to ensure everything moves efficiently.<br />&nbsp;<br />Delivery: Over the next two years, we’re looking at delivering around 2000 trailer loads to a remote mining site. You’ll be the driving force behind this massive task.<br />&nbsp;<br />OOG Expertise: Some of the pieces we’re handling are “Out of Gauge” (OOG), so domestic logistics experience is a must here. Your expertise will be critical.<br />&nbsp;<br /><strong><br />Requirements:</strong><br /><br />&nbsp;<br />We’re a down-to-earth team, but when it comes to the job, we’ve got some key requirements:<br />&nbsp;<br />Logistics Pro: You should have at least 3 years of experience in logistics. If logistics is your jam, you’re in the right place.<br />&nbsp;<br />Mining Know-How: We need someone who knows the ins and outs of the mining industry, both internationally and domestically.<br />&nbsp;<br />Detail-Oriented: Logistics is all about the nitty-gritty details. If you’ve got a knack for spotting issues before they become problems, you’re our kind of person.<br />&nbsp;<br />Perth-Based: This role is based in the beautiful city of Perth, Western Australia.
