The Head of Transformation leads the company’s transformation efforts, aligning operational changes with strategic goals and ensuring successful execution without disrupting daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the leader of the Transformation Office, managing and overseeing the transformation program in close collaboration with business line leaders and the corporate team.
- Support target setting processes and ensure alignment with business plans. Assume ownership of any revisions or updates to targets, driving accountability for achieving them.
- Oversee performance metrics for workstream sponsors, leads, and initiative owners, ensuring the successful execution of transformation initiatives.
- Ensure that all company functions adopt a “clean sheet,” best-in-class approach, pushing for operational excellence in all areas of the business.
- Provide coaching and insights to senior leaders on the strategies and tactics needed to meet transformation goals, offering guidance and constructive challenges where necessary.
- Reporting to the CEO, they are responsible for setting targets, tracking performance, and coaching senior leaders to drive impact. Ideal candidates have experience leading large-scale transformations
Qualifications:
- A degree in finance, accounting, business, or a similar discipline from a top-tier university is required. MBA or Master’s degree from a top-tier business school is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale transformation programs, particularly within organizations with revenue exceeding $250 million and across diverse regions.
- Experience across strategic, revenue, cost, and working capital levers. The ideal candidate will have held leadership roles in multiple functional areas (CRO, COO, CFO, or GM of large business units).
- Solid foundation in finance and business operations, with a deep understanding of P&L, investment planning, and working capital management.
- High level of independence and transparency, with personal and professional incentives aligned with delivering transformational impact.
- Strong analytical mindset, with a “trust but verify” approach. Unafraid to challenge assumptions and push for rigorous evidence-based decision-making.
- Ability to adapt leadership styles, from decisive and firm management to motivational coaching, depending on the situation and the needs of the team.
- Willingness to engage in constructive conflict to drive outcomes, even if it involves challenging executives or risking personal standing.
