Connexus are partnering with a leading global consumer goods company, to identify a dynamic and highly skilled Associate Director of Accounting to join their team in Thailand.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor all aspects of accounting activities, including month-end/year-end closing, monthly reporting, internal control, and OPEX, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
• Oversee and manage finance operations, financial accounting, treasury, tax, and financial reporting activities, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Analyze data and provide insightful information, evaluating the profitability of newly launched projects in comparison to expectations.
• Collaborate with related departments, such as reservation, contracting, and external business partners, ensuring seamless coordination and effective financial management.
• Provide comprehensive financial advice to the management and team, contributing to strategic decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, demonstrating a solid foundation in financial principles.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in Accounting & Finance within an international business setting.
• Proficiency in SAP software, leveraging technology to enhance accounting processes and streamline operations.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations, ensuring compliance and optimization of financial resources.
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, facilitating effective communication within an international work environment.
• Proficient in computer literacy, particularly MS Office applications, to efficiently analyze and present financial data.
• Exceptional leadership abilities, meticulous attention to detail, effective time management, and a process-oriented mindset.
