Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers, serving as the primary point of contact to address their needs and challenges.
  • Understand and analyse agricultural regulations, ensuring alignment with organisational requirements and compliance.
  • Design and implement strategies to support sustainable farming practices and optimise resource use.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address supply chain challenges and develop farmer-focused solutions.
  • Drive initiatives to improve agricultural productivity and promote innovation within farming communities.
  • Monitor and evaluate partnership performance, ensuring alignment with sustainability and organisational goals.
  • Provide guidance and training to farmers on sustainable practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as an advocate for farmers within the organisation, ensuring their voices are represented in decision-making processes.
  • Facilitate programmes to support farmers’ economic well-being and enhance community development.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and policy changes to drive continuous improvement.

 

Experiences

  • 10+ years of experience in agriculture management, partnerships with a focus on sustainability.
  • Proven track record in managing agriculture partnerships and implementing successful programmes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of agricultural regulations and sustainability practices.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with local agricultural practices and market dynamics.
