Key Responsibilities:
 

• Develop and oversee a strategic roadmap for digital transformation and change.
• Ensure alignment with portfolio expansion and core commercial goals.
• Manage and track initiatives under the transformation roadmap, utilizing internal, contract, and third-party resources.
• Report on progress and ensuring initiatives deliver measurable value.
• Lead the Head of Digital Trading Transformation, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and objectives.
• Foster a culture of innovation, efficiency, and accountability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, aligning diverse viewpoints and addressing challenges collaboratively.
• Partner with the Head of Trading Solutions to establish a cohesive delivery structure.
• Act as the subject-matter expert on the organization’s target operating model and system architecture.
• Drive process optimization with a focus on efficiency, automation, and scalability.
• Balance agility with robustness in process development.
• Develop a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, regulatory frameworks, trading trends, and competitive landscape.
• Ensure the Digital Trading Transformation team focuses on impactful projects, delivering incremental value.

 
Qualifications and Skills:
 

• Bachelor’s degree in a numerate discipline, finance, or technology from a recognized institution. A postgraduate qualification (MSc, PhD, or MBA) is advantageous.
• At least 15 years of experience in energy commodities trading and technology with leading organizations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Deep understanding of the LNG value chain and market dynamics.
• Proficiency in strategic thinking, relationship management, negotiation, project management, and Front Office tooling/CTRM systems.
• Experience across multiple commodities is a plus.
• Project management certification is advantageous.
• Broad expertise across trading, shipping, and finance.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
• Passionate about leveraging technology in commodities trading, including innovations like blockchain, machine learning, and data science.
• Recognized as a thought leader in the trading domain, championing technological advancements for operational efficiencies.
