As the Enterprise Architect (Infrastructure), you will lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge infrastructure solutions that power business operations across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an infrastructure architecture roadmap aligned with the company’s business objectives and growth plans.
- Lead the selection, design, and implementation of enterprise-wide infrastructure solutions, including data centers, cloud platforms, networking, storage, and security.
- Act as a technical leader and advisor on infrastructure technologies, ensuring best practices in areas such as virtualization, cloud (private, public, hybrid), networking, disaster recovery, and backup strategies.
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable infrastructure solutions that optimize performance, security, and cost.
- Establish and enforce infrastructure architecture standards, guidelines, and governance, ensuring compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage relationships with infrastructure vendors and service providers to negotiate and ensure optimal performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain the company’s cloud strategy, driving cloud adoption and ensuring the architecture supports a seamless hybrid environment.
- Monitor infrastructure capacity and performance to ensure scalability and reliability, preparing the organization for future growth.
- Continuously evaluate the total cost of ownership (TCO) of infrastructure assets and initiatives, ensuring that solutions are cost-effective and sustainable.
- Ensure infrastructure solutions meet the highest security standards, incorporating advanced technologies for threat management, mitigation, and prevention.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest infrastructure and cloud trends and innovations, recommending emerging technologies that can benefit the company.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- At least 8+ years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, including 3+ years in an enterprise architect or lead infrastructure architect within a complex, large-scale environment.
- Deep knowledge of infrastructure technologies including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), and security.
- Experience with enterprise cloud adoption, multi-cloud strategies, and hybrid IT architecture.
- Understanding of networking concepts such as SD-WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and network security best practices.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools and methodologies.
- Relevant industry certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert, or equivalent.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and technical experts.
- Ability to think strategically and solve complex technical and business problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects from inception to completion, including budget and timeline management.
